I am Sanja Božović. I sell yachts: new builds from the yard, and pre-owned boats on the secondary market, where the work is knowing which hull is worth buying. I represent Sanlorenzo, and I run Montenegro Charter at Porto Montenegro, which is why I know what an owner lives with after the handover.
Most owners arrive with one and end up needing all three. One person handles them, which is the point.
A new Sanlorenzo from the yard, or a pre-owned yacht found, surveyed and negotiated on the open market. On a new build I sit on the client side of the specification; on a used boat, the client side of the survey, and I will say so if a boat is not worth buying.
Montenegro Charter has run charter out of Porto Montenegro since 2017, for guests who want the Adriatic properly and for owners who want the yacht to earn between their own weeks without being run into the ground.
Jet charter into Tivat, Podgorica and Dubrovnik, with the aircraft chosen for the group and the runway rather than whatever books easiest. Then helicopter or car to the boat, plus the berths, villas, drivers and tables around the visit.
Nobody should take a yacht claim on trust. Each claim below links to where it was published, by someone other than me.
Sanlorenzo brand representative, having built the client base in Montenegro and Serbia, two markets the industry had written off as too small. Sales Director of Sanlorenzo Adria from 2024 to 2026.
Yachts Croatia No. 81Franz Schillinger, CEO of the Master Yachting Group, described her as the most successful client consultant for Sanlorenzo Yachts in the group, and as its most successful saleswoman.
Described by Blic in 2022 as the first woman working as a luxury yacht broker in this region, and reported the same way by the nautical press since. The industry was, and largely still is, male by default.
On the quay at the Sanlorenzo yard in Viareggio when my clients' yachts go into the water.
I started at the operating end of boats, not in a showroom.
A family boat, then Italy. The sea came first through my family’s first yacht. Management studies in Italy followed, then close to a decade abroad before I came back to Montenegro.
Learning the operating end. Sales and marketing, then executive manager at the family charter company, including a fleet of fourteen boats. Unglamorous, and the reason I can read a maintenance history and a crew roster.
Montenegro Charter. Founded my own company at Porto Montenegro and still run it: crewed charter, yacht brokerage and private aviation.
Sanlorenzo, covering Serbia and Montenegro. Joined Sanlorenzo Adria as yacht consultant and built the client base in two markets the industry had written off as too small.
Sales Director, Sanlorenzo Adria. Led the client consultants across Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, BiH, North Macedonia and Albania.
Sanlorenzo brand representative. Sanlorenzo sales and brokerage across Montenegro, Serbia and neighbouring markets, including placement into the Sanlorenzo Charter Fleet. I still handle my original clients myself.
Built 2026, launched in May. One owner, low hours, lying afloat at Porto Montenegro. Specification, survey and history file on request.
A new build is one to three years of decisions. Here is the shape of it, and what happens when you sell.
Where you will run her, how many weeks a year, crew or no crew. The model follows from that.
Range, layout, and a delivery slot. Slots move fast and often decide the year more than the specification does.
The long part. Materials, tenders, systems, and which choices help resale and which only please you.
Flag, berth, crew, management, and charter if you want the boat to earn.
Most owners sell once, to trade up or because the use has changed. Either way the work comes down to three things.
What the boat is worth this season, not what the last broker promised. Specification, hours and condition decide it.
Photography, paperwork and a boat prepared for viewing. A tidy history sells faster than a low price.
The Sanlorenzo network and the charter clients who already know the boats. Then survey, sea trial and handover.
Yachts Croatia, The Collection, Blic, Gracija, Nautika Present, and a full podcast episode for the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro. The printed pages and the originals are collected on one page.
There is no enquiry form here. Write or call, and you get me. If you are considering a Sanlorenzo, tell me where you want to spend the summer and how many weeks a year you will really be aboard. That way the conversation starts in the right place.
If you want to speak to an owner I have delivered to, ask, and I will arrange it.
